Monâjât Yultchieva - Fribourg 2006 - now on dime

And here's the second of today's world music/ethno uploads on dime:
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=150532

Traditional music from Uzbekhistan, songs influenced by the Sufi tradition, songs based on poems, songs about love - love of God, even though the songs are about passion and desire. Songs usually sang by men, not by women... a mix of traditional and "modern art" - very strong music!

Notes:

I used the French way of writing the names, as it can be found on the website of the FIMS (http://www.fims-fribourg.ch/)
The German way to write this singer's name is "Munadjat Yulchieva".

The interview is in russian (Yultchieva) & french (translator), the radio announcer sums it up and comments in german.

Notes on instruments (source: http://www.operavenir.com/yultchieva.html):

ubu-note: doïra is a frame drum
